[Look! For once, Hiccup isn't getting himself injured on camera! In fact, he's looking pretty cheerful.]

Sure took me long enough, didn't it? I got here in December, but this is my first one.

[That's right, the little viking is holding up this little gem:

He slips it back into his bag, then adjusts his stance to lean weight off of his bad leg. The prosthetic is a little damaged from his journey to Violet and the misadventures on the way.]

If I want to fly, Cianwood's next, right? Anyone got any tips for the leader there?

We can learn how to fly?

Not us specifically, but our pokemon can, yeah! You need two badges to do it, though.

But I've got two bird pokémon, and they already know how to fly.

They can't carry you around though, right?

[Because that would be so unfair.]

Of course not! They're tiny!

...Right. But large birds or dragons can't carry people around unless they know the move Fly. Even then, you need to have another badge that let's them use it for travel purposes.

Weird. But I guess if that's what it takes for me to fly again, I better start training.

So did you have dragons back home, or did you use the airplane machine?

I don't think we had dragons. [It probably wasn't outside the realm of possibility for Drosselmeyer, but thankfully he left it at giant evil ravens.] And we didn't have that airplane thing you're talking about either.

Well, there was this one giant raven, but he was evil, and I don't think he would let anyone ride him.

Why does everyone say that? I'm human now, so I can speak just fine!

When my friend Toothless got turned into a human, he couldn't speak. Well, by the time I got here, I guess he could say 'Fish' and 'Kitty', but that's really about it...

I guess maybe it's 'cause I was stuck in a fairytale back home? I turned into a girl so I could help the Prince, and when he was ready to beat the raven I had to go back to being a duck.

Umm, really? [Duck and Princess Tutu have been called many things before, but 'cool' is not one of them.] It is pretty strange, now that I say it out loud.

[Not as cool as dragons, but cool! Hiccup also thinks looking for fairies and trolls is cool, though, so...]

I think being human is much better, though. The only thing I really miss is the flying.
