[Look! For once, Hiccup isn't getting himself injured on camera! In fact, he's looking pretty cheerful.]

Sure took me long enough, didn't it? I got here in December, but this is my first one.

[That's right, the little viking is holding up this little gem:

He slips it back into his bag, then adjusts his stance to lean weight off of his bad leg. The prosthetic is a little damaged from his journey to Violet and the misadventures on the way.]

If I want to fly, Cianwood's next, right? Anyone got any tips for the leader there?

[Hiccup's grin goes a little sad, then.]

[Kiki waves.] Hi, Adder! You look way stronger now. So I guess I should be congratulating both of you.

[Adder hums her appreciation. She might not be social, but she does like Kiki! And being strong. That's cool, too.]

She did great against Falkner!

[If Kiki were there in person, she'd give Adder a pat...or some shell polish or something. But she settles for a big smile.]

Well she definitely looks like those talons wouldn't even hurt her! It's almost like a kind of cocoon. What is she going to turn into?

I'm not too sure, but she is a dragon type...

[He's secretly hoping for wings. Laila's cool and all, but flying on an owl wouldn't be quite the same. Plus, his other dragon type didn't have wings, either.]

Well, I'm sure it'll be mighty, whatever it is. [And because she feels she should ask:] And what about you? How's your leg holding up?

[Adder draws herself up, because yes, she will be mighty. You can all count on it.

Hiccup grimaces a little, rolling his eyes.]

One of my new pokemon seems out to destroy it... I might have to make myself a new one, if he keeps up chewing on it and trying to singe it. Getting to Violet was hard enough, without all the trouble he caused me.

[He perks up, though, as he thinks of something.]

Though maybe I could make the new one work with a modified roller blade. I never did get to try that out.

Maybe you should put tabasco sauce on your leg to stop him from chewing.

What's that roller blade, though? Is it like a roller skate?

That might just make him want to breathe fire more...

[Hiccup shrugs.]

I've never heard of a roller skate. But roller blades are like shoes with wheels! They make you go really fast. A girl named Katara has some.

Oh, yeah! A roller skate is exactly like that. It's a shoe that has four little wheels on it. You're going to make a leg with wheels?

Maybe! Then I could switch them out when I needed to, like Gobber does with his hand back home.

[Thinking... Hiccup hasn't really thought about inventions since he arrived in Johto, minus that time back home. Feels good.]

Or I could just make a device that fits into the roller blade, with a latch for my foot to hook into. That worked on a dragon saddle, back home.

A lot of people had dragons, back home. They've been on Berk even longer than we have.

Berk is the island you're from, right? Dragons... [a breathy, dreamy sigh.] What do real-live dragons look like?

Mhmn. It's kind of a terrible place, but...it's home. I kind of miss it.

There are a lot of different kinds of dragons! Some are real little with buggy eyes, some have two heads that fight like siblings, and there was one that was bigger than a mountain. Toothless looked-- Ooh, wait here!

[...Hiccup, she's on a screen. She's not going anywhere.

He, however, moves off to the side as he starts to dig through his bag, not paying much attention to his filming. He returns with a piece of paper covered in doodles. Most of them are of Toothless--there are even a few of the dragon as he had appeared in Johto--but Stoick, Astrid, and Stormfly have also made appearances.]

Toothless is the shaded one, see? He's called a Night Fury. That other dragon is a Deadly Nadder. Her name's Stormfly.

[NEVER. TALK NERDY TO HER, HICCUP.]

Two heads? Real--

[Oh herp there he goes.]

[Welp. She wants to know more! So she'll wait obediently.]

[When he returns, she bringes the camera close, as if that could possibly zoom things in on his end.]

They look amazing. 'Toothless' is...your dragon? The one you rode?

Yeah...

[The notebook is lowered a little at that. Sigh, no more dragons...]

He was here, for a while, as a human. Didn't stop him from acting like a dragon, though.

As a...human?

[Pinged like whoa.]

Mhmn. I guess non-humans get changed when they arrive here. I've also met someone who used to be a troll.

[He was disappointed to learn that trolls didn't steal left socks like Gobber said...]
