Eighth Flight. [video/action for violet city.]
[Look! For once, Hiccup isn't getting himself injured on camera! In fact, he's looking pretty cheerful.]
Sure took me long enough, didn't it? I got here in December, but this is my first one.
[That's right, the little viking is holding up this little gem:

He slips it back into his bag, then adjusts his stance to lean weight off of his bad leg. The prosthetic is a little damaged from his journey to Violet and the misadventures on the way.]
If I want to fly, Cianwood's next, right? Anyone got any tips for the leader there?
[Hiccup's grin goes a little sad, then.]
...Just wish Toothless were here.

Who's Toothless?
And, uh. Remember how I said I flew a dragon back home? That was Toothless.
Yeah. And he was human, while he was here. Toothless was half the reason I wanted to get fly, really, since he couldn't, in Johto.

[The feed jostles a bit as he digs out two pokeballs--Adder already being out and about. Hiccup points to each in turn.]
I had Dinkfin, my Seadra, do most of it, and then my Shelgon and Noctowl were back-up.

[Rin's already impressed. He turns the camera to show the team behind him. They're happily louging around, enjoying the fruits of their labor.]
Birdie, Blue, and Quil fought against Falkner's team. [That's Pidgeot, Lapras, and Quilava respectively.] It was a tough match for us.
Yeah? What were their levels at, when you challenged him?

Cianwood's leader use fighting types, so flying and psychic types are your best bet. He have a Poliwrath, so I suggest electric or grass types against it as well.
[He just wants to fly, okay. Then maybe he'll go ahead and get the other badges.]
Great! Laila's a Noctowl, so she should have no problem with that. Maybe I should start training my Tropius or Dratini more for that Poliwrath, though.

[ Critical or not, she seems to be willing to impart some wisdom on poor Hiccup. ] Cianwood's a Fighting-type gym, so Flying and Psychic are your best bet. The old dude who runs it has a Poliwrath, too, so you might want a good Electric or Grass move just in case.
video;
I wasn't actually trying to get the badges at first. [He was busy being a freeloader and language teacher.] How long have you been here, anyway?
[Hiccup nods, having already gotten that information from Atsuro.]
I've got the flying and psychic covered, so I just need to decide whether to go with Midgardsormr or Littlefoot for the Poliwrath.

[ Someone also isn't going to do well with Norse names. ]
